Wobbly tracks caused Ms. Soo-On’s garage door to slip out of place, to the point where she couldn’t make it without causing an alarming grinding noise.
We held the garage door very carefully, minimizing contact between the free rollers and the tracks while lifting the door out of place. Once we navigated the garage door off of the tracks and set it down inside of the garage, we set about repairing the tracks. Three screws needed tightening, and we needed to repair and oil over the scratches taken from the grinding rollers. Two of the door’s rollers themselves also needed replacement before we could lower the garage door back into place and reconnect it.
